Ready to Believe

Jesus says every day is a new day. Every yesterday moment is no more. Its been forgiven. 

Isnt that amazing? 

Its so amazing. Even more amazing how He can let go and i cannot. My pain seems to go and go and go.

And i never feel clean even though ive been washed in the blood. Even though my soul has been cleansed and set free.

Im ready for change. Im ready to believe all this amazing love about me. Im ready to forgive any of my past mistakes. 

I feel ready to move on. To open the metal cage that wraps my heart and soul in chains. And believe im ok.

I have recently contemplated this very quote i just came across: If you want to be happy quit trying to be perfect. 

wah-lah!! doesnt exactly take a genious to know this. But apparantly it takes a lot of courgae and will to obtain it. 

But dont we all strive for perfection? isnt it who we are (when) things are working out? and its who we wont own up to being when its not? 

Im so sure i cant possibly be the only one on this strange yet beautiful planet who does this and thinks this.

My question then turns to how? how do we be US? how do we not care? how do we laugh when we screw up ? how do we have this self confidence to just be with out caring? 

How do we enjoy the journey? 

How do we fly?
